This is a blog for role-playing out an adventure I thought of while blogging.  This is mainly for friends of mine, but if you’re a friend of a friend, you’re more than welcome to join in if our mutual friend can tell me who you are.  I don’t like to be that way, but I have to be able to keep this on a managable level.  You try DMing a large group of people and tell me that isn’t hard.

The basic format works thusly:

1. I write a post describing the current situation.
2. You write a response in the comments based on how your character would react.  Some repsonses only require a short answer, others may require more detailed answers.
3. I write a post based on the characters’ reaction.
4. See #2.

The only thing required of you will be your own imagination.  I will handle all system mechanics behind the scenes and write the results of anything that requires a dice roll into the prose as well as report the mechanics after the prose is done.  The idea is to relax with it and have fun.

Yes, this set up does give me a lot of power over the game, but I will be fair with that.  Compromises have to be made whenever we go to a format like this, or we’ll be so bogged down with rules and dice rolls that we’ll never get anything done.
